These terms govern the use of the Nozie Discord bot (the "Bot"). They supplement our main Terms of Service, which continue to apply to your Nozie account and the Service as a whole. By adding the Bot to a Discord server, you agree to both.
1. What the Bot Does
The Bot delivers Nozie incident alerts into a channel you choose, and lets authorized users act on them: merge an AI-written Pull Request, confirm a container restart, run read-only status commands, and ask questions about their own infrastructure. It performs no function unrelated to that.
2. Who May Add and Use It
You may add the Bot only to a Discord server you own or administer, and only if you hold a Nozie account on a plan that includes Discord alerts. You must be at least 16 years old, and you are responsible for the Bot's presence in your server, including compliance with your server's own rules and Discord's terms.
3. Authorization Inside the Server
Everyone who can see the alert channel can read the alerts posted there โ including container names, error summaries and AI analysis. Choose that channel accordingly. Only the Discord account that connected the integration can merge a Pull Request or trigger a restart, whatever a member's Discord permissions may be. Do not treat Discord roles as a substitute for that boundary.
4. Actions on Your Infrastructure
Pressing Merge PR merges a real Pull Request into your repository. Confirming a restart prompt restarts or redeploys a real container. These are your actions, taken through the Bot, and you are responsible for their consequences. AI-generated fixes are suggestions, not guarantees of correctness โ review before merging, exactly as you would in the dashboard.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Add the Bot to a server in order to access infrastructure you are not authorized to access
- Attempt to bypass the authorization boundary described in section 3
- Automate, scrape, or spam the Bot's commands, or use it to relay content unrelated to your own infrastructure
- Attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Bot, or resell access to it
We apply rate limits, and may ignore or throttle requests that exceed them.
6. Availability
The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available." It depends on Discord's platform, which we do not control. We do not warrant uninterrupted delivery, and the Bot must not be treated as your only alerting channel for anything critical. If it is unavailable, alerts can still be delivered by email.
7. Data
What the Bot collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to delete it is described in the Discord Bot Privacy Policy.
8. Suspension and Removal
You may remove the Bot at any time from your Discord server, or disconnect it in the Nozie dashboard. We may suspend or remove the Bot from a server that violates these terms, that no longer has an active qualifying Nozie plan, or where continued operation would breach Discord's own policies.
9. Disclaimers and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nozie is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or business, arising from use of the Bot โ including actions taken on your infrastructure by a person you authorized within your Discord server.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above, and continued use of the Bot after they take effect constitutes acceptance.
